McCoy & Son is a family-owned and operated business specializing in custom woodwork. Our firm is located in midtown Tulsa. John C. McCoy is a skilled woodworker and master carpenter. John began his career in woodworking in the late 1970s as an apprentice to the late Lee Wheeler–a prominent craftsman in Tulsa. His skills developed through a range of projects such as kitchen remodels, historical landmark restoration, and custom cabinetry. 

 

John B. McCoy grew up learning the craft from his father. When John B. was young as a Boy Scout he completed his first woodworking project with his father building a car for the Boy Scout’s Pinewood Derby Race. Over the years John B. honed his skills and completed his first piece of furniture surprising his wife Keely with a custom vanity.
